Untitled from Elias Nunez on Vimeo.

some thoughts that passed through my mind was how, even though it was just an act that I put on taking the video, this is what I most of my time when there is nothing else to do. And the part when I said "I have no life" deadass seems kinda true even though I hate to admit it. I kind of hate the fact that I'm kind of addicted to so much digital things.

Its kind of good that I have things like work and school and friends to keep me busy from doing things like sitting on my couch all day and watching t.v, and sitting on the chair and going on Facebook, even though friends are what make you go on sites like that in the first place.

My nephew kind of already does d, he's already addicted to his cartoons. He already knows how to change to his channels with the remote and he does it real quick. But I wouldnt want him to get to used to it, in the future I'll probably be the one that ends up giving him a total limit of t.v time per week.

I think ideas like the Wii are very good, because you wont neccesarily be like addicted to it, like you can really work up a sweat, which I kind of like, because now a days there's a lot of obeise kids and something needs to be done about that.

  1. I like how you really notice things about your self and are able to say that you do not have a life and I think that alot of people can't say that about their selves. I also like how you notice things about your nephew and how you think about how you may limit his t,v watching when he gets older or even now.

I see that in your post you talk alot about you and your life which is good because you don't know how other people use the digital media world

I agree with you that school and work and friends and aterschool things are a good way to stop us from being addicted to the digital world. I also agree that sometimes our friends are the reason why we are addicted because we want to talk to them so much that we have to be one the phone with one while texting the other while iming the other.

I do not think you need to work on

I also saw how you talking about obeise kids and how there needs to be something done. I agree I think that this whole digital world have something to do with it.

    Nice post

  2. Good stuff. i liked how you pretended to not be on camera the entire time (haha). I liked how you moved from activity to activity in very little time, getting everything you needed done swiftly. This shows me, through the eyes of a first-time viewer not an average friend, that you are used to being on those digital devices very much and that you spend much time on them to be able to multi-task so easily. I liked your point in your text that stated you like that school and homework keep you distracted from wasting your time from things like web-browsing. But imagine if in your video you spent the computer time actually getting school work done, Me as a viewer would never be the wiser. It was funny to see that what you were doing on Facebook was visiting MY profile (lol). Overall it was a decent film, short and expressive. Good stuff.

  3. ok your video was a bit shaky and it was hard to tell what you was doing but overall you had good examples of using technology. there was also times when you were happy to be on camera showing off your watch and what not but it was good that you were not to focus on the camera. i agree with you about having friends and school and other stuff to keep you away from all these distractions because there are times when am hanging out with my friends and that keeps me from thinking about all these other things.
